Meditating has made a significant difference in my life. And I’ve started only recently.
One of my friends did the 10 day Vipassana course. At the time, I thought he was crazy. Why would anyone want to spend 10 days doing nothing…
Well, now I know it’s definitely not nothing. In fact, meditating is extremely useful and benefits many aspects of life. I even believe my sex life has become better since I started meditating.
I think I should become more skilled at meditating before doing the retreat. But I definitely want to do it in future!
For anyone reading this who wants to try meditation, I recommend starting by doing just a couple minutes per day. Then you can do it for longer when you’re more experienced. Because if you try to do it for a long period of time when you’re not experienced, you may think it’s useless and stop.
