1. For ladies, generally there are more thoughts that need to be dealt with,
as well as an increased sense of anxiety.  The face to face meeting initially is to provide a calming situation,
where as males are more linear in thought and have less worries.

2.
Before submitting all required documents, some female applicants are not so firm with their decision and the chance to meet up is offered.
Once there the trust has been built up, the necessary documents can then be submitted and a further interview is arranged
(However, this is not standard practice nor encouraged as it increases The Chairman's workload)

3. All new participants need to go through [The Newcomer's Ceremony].
Before entering the event location, all new participants need to be blindfolded,
if there is someone that she has seen before (i.e. the Chairman), she will feel less nervous,
thus reducing the likelihood of her bailing out last minute.

4. With current technology, any lady who has made any alteration/enhancement to her picture (the one submitted with their application),
no matter how skillful she is, the face to face interview will vastly reduce the chance of any
misjudgment from The Chairman.

5. Unless specified in advance or at the request of the female, the face to face interview will only be between herself and The Chairman.
