Thanks for sharing your backstory.

I can understand why you were unconfident. I’ll share a little of my backstory; perhaps it would make you feel better, as I used to be really unconfident sexually too. I had a medical condition which made sex painful, so I was circumcised as an adult three years ago. After this, sex became amazing, and as a result I grew more confident in other aspects of life as a result.

You might be thinking, “wow, he is so open about his past on an online forum.” But to be honest, even though I don’t tell everyone about my past when I meet them (obviously), I believe being open about it is much better. I was very secretive about my issues for so long, and it was incredibly negative for my mental health.

So I think you did the right thing by expressing your feelings in this post. For me, when I accepted that my past happened, but that I should move on to bigger and better things, this is when my life truly changed for the better.

Anyways, I hope in the time since you’ve joined the club, some of your past insecurities have gone away.

And hopefully we can meet some day soon

That's so funny about the event! I saw the "wall has ears" written in someone else's post, and I had no idea what this event was about. Now I understand very clearly! To me it sounds very interesting. In the past I've spent a lot of energy trying to make beds less noisy, but never thought about making myself less noisy... I'll have to try it!

It's good to hear that your insecurities have gotten better since joining S&B. Luckily, I can say that while I still sometimes think about my past, it doesn't affect my daily life anymore. Still, hope to see you in the parties and we can continue growing together
