I am not sure I deserve to write a one year review
just because enough time has passed since I've joined SNB.
Due to a variety of my lame excuses,
I can count on one hand the number of SNB events
I have been fortunate enough to take part in over the last year.
There are probably members who joined in the last 30 days who have been to more events than me.
Nevertheless I feel privileged to have been able to become Roland
whenever I need to feel the warm embrace of the SNB family in both the chatroom and in person.
Over the handful of events I've been to I have come to see a common theme with SNB events,
the saucy stuff aside, each SNB event is well organised,
filled with laughter and leave me wanting more.
I attribute this to the thought and care put into the events by our dear Chris and James.
Whilst you never know who you would meet at an event,
there is always someone there you would know,
be it a big group of 20 or an intimate group of 5.
Sure you may think this is just a coincidence but I attribute this to the immense effort
that Chris and James put into making sure every participant feels welcomed and not alone.
Without them there would be no SNB, thanks guys.
The last year has been challenging to say the least and Roland has been a mask that
I have had the luxury of putting on whenever
I needed to escape from my reality.
Roland is my wardrobe to Narnia, it is my platform 9 and 3/4,
it is my key to SNB.
Thank you my SNB family for letting me be Roland.
